Step Forward Ireland is an Orthotic Supply company in business over 13 years. They are based in Dublin and run some Satellite Clinics around the country. Fixed locations and trade shows.
From 2018 they are coming to The Oaktree Holistic Clinic, Athlone once a month usually on a Wednesday.

They carry a “Flexible” custom fit American Manufactured Orthotic which is much different and much more effective than traditional style orthotics. They are called “The Soft Steps”.

Their product is formed as a template of the healthy foot and requires your foot structure to conform to its healthy shape. In other words we do not match the shape of your foot, as this is usually the problem. Simple, but very effective. Over 55,000 pairs sold each year in U.S.A. There has been NO change to their design in 43 years.

As they are flexible, they are usually easy to wear (after a short break-in period), they fit into 80% of your existing shoe wardrobe, and can help relieve pain associated with fallen arches, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, corns, callouses, shin splints, Morton’s Neuroma, foot pain, ankle pain, knee pain, hip pain, back pain and neck & shoulder pain. Helps improve posture and general levels of energy.

The Insoles are suitable for use by people with any or all of the following: –

  • Fallen Arches/Flat Feet
  • High Arches
  • Bunions (helps take pressure off bunion area)
  • Corns/Callouses
  • Hammer Toes
  • Heel Spur
  • Back Pain
  • Hip/Knee/Ankle/Foot Pain
  • Neck & Shoulder Pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Shin Splints
  • Pronation (falling in on your ankles)
  • Supination or Over Pronation (leaning out on your ankles)
  • Poor Posture
  • Mortons Neuroma
  • Metatarsalgia/Tendonitis
  • Balance issues
  • General Pains in Feet

… in some instances these are only the symptoms of bigger problems as hard surfaces, improper footwear, old age and gravity are the major factors that lead to structural malfunction of the musculoskeletal system.

They can be worn by all ages and for all types of sports pursuits.
The initial assessment costs €30 and takes around 40 minutes to complete. The cost per pair of insoles is €350 (if purchased on the day) which includes the initial assessment & follow up session. This works out at €1 per day for 1 year, the average lifespan of a pair is 10 Years ….. so, they are excellent value for money. They fit into your own shoe size too.

Here are just some of the MANY testimonials of their wonderful product! More HERE

I have had several different types of Orthotics over the years but I find the
“Soft Steps” the most comfortable and easy to wear of all. I am so glad I found them

Helena Lyons
Glasnevin, Dublin

My neck and shoulders have been troubling me for years, I have had lots of physiotherapy and X-Rays and nothing has been as effective in alleviating my discomfort as wearing the “Soft Step” Orthotics.

Breda Wolff
Surrey, England

I had a ‘carbuncle’ on the side of my little toe for years and within 3 weeks of wearing the orthotics I bought from Frank, the carbuncle has disappeared

Martina Guerin
Drumcondra, Dublin

My 13 year old son Stephen had been complaining of knee pain and tired legs and low energy for the past couple of years. I had him to the doctor who could not find anything amiss. Since being fitted with the Orthotics by Eibhlin he is back playing football and is not complaining at all of his knees. His energy levels have most definitely improved. Both he and I are most thankful that Step Forward have provided him with such great relief

Raymond Blake
Portlaoise, Co. Laois

My feet were described as Extremely Flat and I had a lot of leg and hip pain. I wore orthotics for about 6 years. I found them good, but I find these particular ones “Soft Steps” are far superior. I am on my feet all day in steel toecap boots, which are very inflexible, but I find that with my new orthotics inside I can feel a definite improvement and have a spring in my step. My leg and hip pain are gone.

I like to dance and was finding that I could not dance for any length of time due to pains in my feet and legs. Eibhlin fitted me with Orthotics approx. three months ago and I can dance the night away again. I am very grateful to have discovered such a wonderful product.

Ann Sotscheck

I was a marathon runner but when I came to you first I could not walk without a great deal of pain. Right now things are much better… I can now actually walk in comfort. Apart from the actual orthotics the treatment I got from yourselves on an on-going basis has made everything that much easier. I am very grateful for your help and understanding.

I had been having trouble with my back, my feet and lower legs, painful getting up and going in the morning, poor circulation, aching at night……But here it is mid-March… I feel 100% better. My biggest fear now is losing them! I have been extremely pleased with your product. Thank you for the professional way you handled my skepticism

First of all, I would like to applaud the superb customer service I didn’t really believe there was much that you could do for the burning pain in my feet, my left foot was symptom free in about a day. I have also ordered 2 more sets. And I am hiking in Germany in a few months, thanks to your product and your people. What a great feeling!
